About the practice
An online practice that answers the phone.
छोटे कारोबार के लिए, पूरे भारत में
Taxbiz began because the same five questions kept arriving from people who had already asked someone else and come away no clearer.
Why we exist
Most tax practices are built for the businesses that can afford to be, and everyone else gets a WhatsApp number that answers in March. That leaves a shopkeeper, a freelancer with three clients and a family that has just sold a flat guessing — about thresholds, about registrations, about a notice that arrived with a thirty-day clock on it.
We started in 2019 doing the unglamorous half of that work properly: returns filed before the due date, notices read the day they arrive, and a plain answer when the honest answer is "you do not need this". The practice is small on purpose. You speak to the person doing your work.
We are online-first and we work with clients in every state and union territory. GST and income tax proceedings are faceless and the filings happen on national portals, so where you sit changes nothing about the work — and where a state registration has its own form and its own fee, we file it to that state's rules rather than to a template.
01
How we work
Four things we hold to, whatever the matter is.
- 01
Fixed fees, quoted first
Every service on this site publishes an indicative starting fee. You get a firm number in writing before any work begins, and nothing is added afterwards.
- 02
Plain language, in your language
Hindi or English, whichever is easier. No section numbers thrown at you without the sentence that explains what they mean for your money.
- 03
We say no when the answer is no
If a registration is not required, if a notice needs no reply, or if the matter belongs with a litigator rather than with us, that is what you will be told.
- 04
Deadlines are ours to remember
The 7th, the 11th, the 20th, the advance-tax dates. Once a matter is with us, the calendar stops being your problem.
02
Who we work with
Not a general practice. These are the businesses whose problems we have seen enough times to recognise on the phone.
Salaried professionals
Old versus new regime compared on your actual numbers, house property, foreign shares and ESOPs declared correctly, and the refund chased when it stalls.
Freelancers & consultants
Presumptive taxation under 44ADA, advance tax that does not surprise you in March, GST on export of services, and invoices that survive a scrutiny.
Shopkeepers & traders
GSTIN, monthly returns, e-way bills and the input credit that suppliers keep forgetting to upload.
Small businesses & startups
Proprietorship, LLP or Pvt Ltd chosen for a reason, Udyam and DPIIT recognition, Shops & Establishment, and a compliance calendar you can actually follow.
Landlords & property sellers
Rental income and the deductions people miss, the buyer's 1% TDS under 194-IA, and capital gains computed with the exemptions you are entitled to.
NRIs & returning residents
Residential status worked out properly, DTAA relief and Form 67, TDS on Indian property and deposits, and repatriation paperwork that banks accept.
03
The people
Small on purpose. You speak to the person doing your work, not to a coordinator.
Founder & Tax Consultant
[Name]
Leads GST and income tax engagements, and takes the consultation calls. Handles the notice work personally.
Compliance Associate

Runs the filing calendar and the state registrations — Shops & Establishment, Professional Tax and trade licences — plus Udyam and DPIIT files.
04
Every state, every union territory
GST and income tax proceedings are faceless and filings are made on national portals, so distance is not a constraint. Where a state registration needs a local step — an inspection, a physical submission — we say so upfront and price it in.
28
states
Central law is the same everywhere; state registrations we file to your state's rules.
8
union territories
Including Delhi, Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Puducherry.
100%
handled remotely
Video call, WhatsApp, email. No office visit is ever required of you.
2

Hindi or English, on the call and in the written summary afterwards.
