Terms of service
The plain-English terms on which Taxbiz Advisory provides consultations, subscriptions and professional engagements.

01
Who these terms are between
These terms govern your use of https://taxbiz.ai and the services offered on it. "We", "us" and "the practice" mean Taxbiz Advisory, operating from Online-first · Clients across India. "You" means the person or business using the site or engaging us.
By booking a consultation, subscribing to the newsletter, or sending us an enquiry, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
02
What we provide
We provide tax and compliance assistance: registrations, periodic returns, replies to departmental notices, and advisory on state-specific requirements. The scope of any engagement is whatever is written in the quote you accept — nothing more is implied.
Indicative fees published on this site are starting points for budgeting. A firm fee is confirmed in writing before work begins.
03
This is professional assistance, not a guarantee of outcome
Tax law changes, departments exercise discretion, and facts differ from case to case. We will apply reasonable professional care and the law as it stands, but we cannot and do not guarantee any particular assessment, refund, approval or decision by any authority.
Nothing on this website — including the newsletter, the service descriptions and the FAQs — is advice for your specific situation. It is general information. Advice only exists once we have your facts in front of us and have said so in writing.
We are not a law firm. Where a matter requires representation before a court or is properly a legal rather than a tax question, we will tell you and, if you wish, help you find someone appropriate.
04
What we need from you
Filings are only as accurate as the information behind them. You are responsible for giving us complete and truthful documents and figures, and for telling us about anything that changes.
- Provide documents and answers in time for a statutory due date to be met.
- Tell us promptly about any notice, summons or communication you receive from a department.
- Keep your portal credentials confidential and change them if you suspect misuse.
- Review the acknowledgement we send you after every filing and raise any discrepancy immediately.
05
Consultations
A consultation is a scheduled call of the duration stated at booking. The fee is payable in advance and the slot is held for you alone. Cancellation and refund terms are set out in the refunds policy.
Where you proceed with an engagement within fourteen days of the call, the consultation fee is adjusted against the first invoice for that engagement.
06
The Taxbiz Insider subscription
The subscription is a monthly, recurring subscription to the newsletter and its archive. It renews automatically each month until you cancel, and you may cancel at any time with effect from the end of the period you have already paid for.
Issues are for your own use. Please do not republish or redistribute them; forwarding one to a friend who might find it useful is fine and welcome.
07
Fees, taxes and payment
Fees are quoted in Indian rupees. Government and statutory fees — municipal charges, MCA fees, stamp duty and the like — are additional and billed at actuals with receipts. Goods and Services Tax applies on our professional fee where chargeable.
Where an engagement is billed in stages, work on a later stage begins after the earlier invoice is settled.
08
Confidentiality
Everything you share with us is confidential. We disclose it only to the extent needed to carry out your instructions — for example filing on a government portal — or where the law requires it of us.
09
Limits on our liability
Where we are at fault, our total liability for any engagement is limited to the professional fee you paid us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for penalties and interest arising from information that was incomplete, incorrect or given to us too late.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
10
Ending an engagement
Either of us may end an engagement in writing. You pay for work completed up to that point; we hand over your documents and the records of anything already filed.
We may decline or discontinue work where we are asked to file something we believe to be untrue, where required information is withheld, or where fees remain unpaid.
11
This website
The text, layout and design of this site belong to us. Links to government portals and third-party sites are offered for convenience; we do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
We may change these terms. The date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed, and the version in force is the one published when you engage us.
12
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [City], [State] — the seat of our registered office — have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
